The monthly VCCA meeting was held on Monday, September 12th at 7:00 PM at Café Ginger. We welcomed City of Houston Council-Member Amanda Edwards as our speaker for our September VCCA meeting, who discussed updates regarding budgetary matters regarding the city.

Motion to remove past treasurer, Andy Tallin, from the bank list as treasurer was passed.
Dues were highlighted as reminder was mailed in the last newsletter. Dues are $40/yr.
Volunteers needed for block captains-sign up list circulated
Volunteers needed for Nat’l night out, Oct 4 – sign up list circulated.
Question on how new residents are added to the roster for mailing. They are determined by driving around the neighborhood. Robin Green is handling. I f you know of new residents in your block please send new resident info to Rbogreen9@gmail.com
Speaker – Amanda Edwards – City council member at large #4 (16 council members) to talk about city budget. Questions were answered from the audience.
