The May VCCA meeting was Monday, May 9th, at 7:00pm at Cafe Ginger, 1952 West Gray. Here are the notes.
Meeting was convened by Jeanette Hix.
Attendance: 29
Jeanette introduced new attendees. Jeanette called meeting to order at 7pm. She introduced the officers and committee chairs.
Robin gave a treasurer’s report:

May coffee at Carolynn Kevlin’s house on May 12 at 10am.
Our VCCA Neighborhood picnic was a well-attended success ~10 days ago. ~75 people attended.
New officers will be elected next month. Officer slate announced.

The June meeting will be an officer meet & greet- no program scheduled.
The evening program was a speakers from Harris County Appraisal District (HCAD) Jack Barnett. The topic was: Basic overview of Property tax system. A speaker from the Community Relations team in the Office of the Chief Appraiser of the Harris County Appraisal District spoke about property taxes, assessments, and protests.
